Hollywood Strikes Again...Grrrr!

The country teeders on the edge of recession; many cannot afford gas, the mortgage payment & God forbid FOOD...but Hollywood actors feel justified in demanding double payment for DVD sales, and increased payouts for online viewing of their work. Now, I may be way off base here, but after 100 days of the writers strike, I am fed up with Hollywood greed. It doesn't seem like the best time to gain anyone's sympathy when most of the country (and world for that matter) is having the toughest time surviving. And as big a movie & television viewer as I have been over the years, it wouldn't hurt me a bit to turn it all off & read or do crafts.

Crafting takes over...

In between stints at work I have managed to do a few new craft projects. One can be viewed here.

Its a great day when felt finds its way into my needle & thread. FUN. Found this cool software called SKITCH which allows you to capture & tag photos & publish to web. Though screen shots have been around awhile (at least 4 macs), SKITCH allows you to draw into your images. Pretty cool. Anyway, I'm just learning it. Thanks & a hat tip to Deb, too, for turning me on to COMIC LIFE. Comic Life lets you turn your photos into a comic strip or book. It is really awesome. Both available from http://plasq.com.
